Aquarius
Aquarius Horoscope – September 2026
The month begins with Mars in Cancer moving through your 6th house of work, routines, responsibilities and everyday life. You may find yourself dealing with a busier schedule or becoming more aware of everything that needs your attention. Inflammation can show up in the form of anger or rashness in your day to day, or colds and viruses. So keep yourself as calm and regulated as possible. On the good side of this transit is the drive to change a routine, become more organised or stop giving your energy to things that don’t really need to be done. You can set up with a new nutritious diet or exercise regime. You might travel for work at this time too.
September 10 – Venus enters Scorpio, your 10th house of career, reputation and public identity.
Venus moving into your 10th house can bring more ease and influence into your professional life. You may feel more appreciated at work, develop a better relationship with colleagues or become more interested in the way you’re presenting yourself publicly.
This can also be a good period for attracting opportunities with bosses or industry people you admire.
You may find yourself asking whether your career reflects your values and what you can do to put more of what you value in your career.
Then, Mercury enters Libra — your 9th house of beliefs, higher education, travel and the bigger picture.
Your mind turns towards the wider world. You may want to study something, travel, write, teach or explore a new philosophy. You could go back to the classroom at this time. This is particularly relevant for you because Saturn, your traditional ruling planet, is currently moving through your 3rd house or education.
September 10- Uranus turns retrograde in Gemini, your 5th house of creativity, pleasure, romance and self-expression.
Uranus is your modern ruling planet, so this is another particularly important transit for you.
Uranus has been moving through your 5th house, disrupting old ideas about how you’re supposed to express yourself for the past year already. You may have felt a growing need to create, experiment, take risks or do something that doesn’t quite fit the expectations other people have of you.
As Uranus turns retrograde, you may revisit some of these questions. See how far you’ve come, draw up a progress report.
Perhaps there is a creative part of you that you’ve been neglecting. Perhaps there are changes in your child’s life, such as starting a new school. Perhaps you’ve been trying to make yourself more conventional when actually you want more freedom.
If you have natal planets between 1° and 5°, Uranus will contact them as it moves backwards, so it’s worth consulting with a trained astrologer. The outer planets move slowly, but when they trigger a natal planet, their themes become much more personal.
September 11- New Moon in Virgo, your 8th house of intimacy, shared finances and psychological transformation.
This New Moon takes you into deeper territory. The 8th house is about trust, vulnerability, shared resources and the psychological processes that happen beneath the surface.
You may begin a new chapter around a shared financial situation, an intimate relationship or your willingness to let another person get closer to you in ways you usually avoid.
You are capable of being remarkably self-sufficient. But there are some things in life that require trust and sharing yourself and your finances. Because the New Moon sextiles Mars in your 6th house, something about your everyday life may support this change. Perhaps you’re creating routines that make you feel more emotionally secure, or finally dealing with something practical that has been creating underlying stress.
September 23 – Sun enters Libra, your 9th house of beliefs, travel, higher education and the bigger picture.
The Sun now illuminates the part of your chart concerned with meaning and perspective.
You may feel a stronger desire to learn, travel, explore or understand something. You might want to take a long distance trip at this stage, if so, it could be for work given Mars in the 6th house. Or perhaps you simply need to get some distance from your everyday life so you can see it more clearly.
September 26 – Full Moon in Aries 3 degrees, in your 3rd house of communication, thinking and your immediate environment.
This is the big culmination of the month – and it lands in the same house where your traditional ruling planet Saturn is currently travelling.
You could have an important conversation, make a decision, receive information that changes your perspective. The Full Moon is conjunct Neptune, so there may initially be some uncertainty. I wouldn’t sign any contracts at this time, until the moon has pulled away from Neptune by over 10 degrees. Neptune is associated with confusion, even deception.
It could be that you hear some news that reveals something previously hidden from you.
But the Full Moon is also sextile Pluto in your 1st house. And this can give you a bit of personal power. Especially when you speak. Something about your identity, your priorities or the person you’re becoming may require you to tell yourself a different story. Maybe you’ll find the courage to put yourself out there and speak on stage or social media. If you work in the arts this can be an especially transformative time to make a reveal.
The Full Moon also trines Mars in your 6th house, connecting this realisation to your everyday life. A decision you make now could change the way you organise your time, work or responsibilities going forwards.
September 28 – Mars enters Leo, your 7th house of relationships and partnerships.
Mars now moves into your 7th house and puts relationships firmly into focus.
You may become more assertive within a partnership or more aware of where there is tension between what you want and what somebody else wants. Word or warning- Mars doesn’t like to compromise! It likes conflict, because that puts it in touch with courage. It’s the God of War in your relationship zone, so this can be passionate energy, but it can also bring conflict if you’ve been avoiding difficult conversations.
September 30 – Mercury enters Scorpio, your 10th house of career and public identity.
The month ends with Mercury moving into your 10th house.
After spending much of the month thinking about beliefs, meaning and the bigger picture, your thoughts now become more focused on what you are actually doing with your life.
You may have an important professional conversation, begin thinking about a career decision or become clearer about the direction you want to take.
There is a lovely progression here and it looks like a new career or success with a side hustle might be beckoning for you.
Good luck this month Aquarius, and I’ll see you in October!
