Why Should you read your Rising Sign?

The monthly horoscope is a very useful tool for self- reflection but also forward planning- to make the most out of the season ahead, and align yourself with the energies of the planets.

It is of course a general interpretation because I can’t see your unique birth chart. Horoscopes are what we call Sun Sign astrology, and I am writing the month ahead as if your Sun is in your 1st house. For that reason, you should read your rising sign as that will put the below into the context of your life.

If you’d like to go deeper into your own birth chart and make the upcoming transits personal to you, consider booking a reading with me where we explore your chart before looking at future opportunities.

Why I write horoscopes

I fell in love with the language of astrology from discovering the monthly horoscopes of Susan Miller. Since I was a teenager I was glued to her long-form monthly guide that was both deeply intriguing and seemingly so personal to me that I’d wait impatiently at the end of every month for Astrology Zone to publish that magical essay!

She was informative, positive and scarily accurate. I decided to study Astrology more seriously from 2021 and spent 3 years studying for a diploma with the London School of Astrology working with a range of experts in the field. Whilst the focus was on the meaning of the planets through the signs, there was one class that taught us how to write for the month ahead should we want to, and I was hooked. I love analysing the transits for each sign and I hope it will resonate with you.
