Scorpio Horoscope — September 2026

The month begins with Mars in Cancer moving through your 9th house of beliefs, travel, higher education, spirituality and your understanding of the world.

You may feel a strong urge to explore a new culture or to just travel this month. You might find you’re wanting to travel somewhere new, study something, or understand life from a completely different perspective.

September 10; Venus enters Scorpio, your 1st house of identity, self-expression and personal direction.

Venus represents love, pleasure, attraction, relationships and what we value – and when it enters your 1st house, these themes become much more personal.

You may feel more attractive, more confident or more comfortable expressing yourself. It’s a good time to improve your image if you have been wanting to do that. You’ll find it easier to connect well with others at this time as they’ll sense this Venusian energy in you! Or perhaps use it to approach people you want to work with and influence.

September 10; Uranus turns retrograde in Gemini, your 8th house of intimacy, shared resources and psychological transformation and trines your ruler Pluto for the next year! You have the power to affect change especially where your shared finances and deeper intimate relationships are concerned.

You may have experienced unexpected developments around shared finances, intimacy or your emotional relationship with another person.

As Uranus turns retrograde, you may revisit something you’ve already experienced and see it differently.

If you have natal planets between 1° and 5°, Uranus will contact them as it moves backwards, so it’s always worth consulting an astrologer. The outer planets move slowly, but when they activate a natal planet, their themes can become much more personal to you as it’s put into the context of your life.

September 11; New Moon in Virgo, your 11th house of friendships, groups, networks and future aspirations.

This New Moon brings a fresh beginning around your social world and your vision for the future.

You may meet new people, become involved in a new community or begin working towards a long-term goal.

But with the New Moon contacting Mars in your 9th house, there is a connection between the people you surround yourself with and the world you are trying to move towards. You may want to take a trip with a new group of friends, or meet others who share your philosophy in life.

You may realise that you need different people around you in order to become the person you’re becoming. You will want to meet people where you are in life now.

September 18 – Chiron moves back into Taurus, your 7th house of relationships and partnerships.

This brings an old relationship wound back into focus. You may find yourself thinking about rejection, abandonment, trust or the fear of being truly known by another person.

The 7th house represents anyone who mirrors something back to you about yourself. It’s not always about our significant partner. Chiron doesn’t necessarily mean something is going wrong in a relationship either. It can mean that an old wound is asking to be understood. People mirror back to us what we give out. There is a pain around your relationships with others that is causing a stir now.

September 23; Sun enters Libra, your 12th house of the unconscious, retreat and endings.

The Sun now joins Mercury in this deeply private part of your chart. You may feel less interested in being constantly available to other people and more interested in your inner world, dreams, therapy, or journalling for example. The 12th house is where we process what we haven’t yet consciously understood and the sun is like a torch scanning the basement that reveals what is buried. You might have vivid dreams, unexpected memories or moments of realisation about something that has been happening beneath the surface for a long time.

September 26; Full Moon in Aries at 3 degrees, in your 6th house of work, health, routines and everyday life.

This is the culmination of the month. Something about your daily life may need to change. The Full Moon can bring a realisation that your routines, workload or responsibilities are no longer sustainable in their current form.

And because Neptune is conjunct with the Full Moon, you may become aware of where you’ve been operating without clear boundaries and giving too much of yourself at your day job for example. You might want to let go of something at work or maybe you leave a job. You could find out something at your place of work, and if so the details will be hazy and you’ll want to dig out some truth to the matter. Neptune can cause a lot of fog. You might feel like giving up on something you do each day, but not yet know the direction you want to go in.

Or perhaps your everyday life has become disconnected from what you actually need emotionally.

The Full Moon also trines Mars in your 9th house, giving you the courage to make a change based on a bigger vision for your life. It’s a good time to take a leave of absence and travel.

September 28; Mars enters Leo, your 10th house of career, reputation and public identity.

After spending the beginning of the month questioning your beliefs and direction, Mars moves into your 10th house and gives you something to act on.

Your professional life becomes more active. You may feel more ambitious, visible or determined to make something happen. This can be excellent for pursuing a goal, taking leadership or finally putting yourself forward, starting a business. People who have this placement in their birth chart absolutely need to get out of bed with a goal. Mars in the 10th needs a goal to work towards, and without one he can lose energy. Just watch the tendency to push too hard or lock horns with the boss during this transit.

September 30 – Mars begins an opposition with Pluto as Mars steps into this 10th house of career fame and ambition in the world. It’s a power move and something that’ll give you a lot of momentum at work and charisma and power. Also power struggles if you don’t hone that magic power of influence and make it work to your advantage- especially at work.

Mercury enters Scorpio, your 1st house of identity and self-expression.

And this is where the month ends. After spending most of the month moving through your 12th house, thinking about what is hidden, private and unconscious, Mercury enters your 1st house and brings those thoughts into consciousness. You may simply become much clearer about what you want. You’ll be thinking a lot about your life direction and taking action next month so don’t feel any pressure to move mountains in September.

Good luck this month Scorpio, and I’ll see you in October!
