Gemini Horoscope –  September 2026

September brings your attention back to the foundations of your life. As a Gemini, you’re naturally future-focused and mentally agile, but this month, home, family, creativity, friendships and your sense of belonging all come under the spotlight.

The month begins with Mars continuing its journey through Cancer, your 2nd house of money, possessions and self-worth. Mars tends to accelerate whatever it touches, and in the 2nd house, you may feel increasingly motivated to improve your finances or become more assertive about what you deserve. Watch your spending with Mars in your second house of earnings, which can burn a hole in one’s pocket! Mars moves into the 3rd house on the 28th which will help.

A cluster of activity arrives on the 10th.

Venus enters Scorpio, moving into your 6th house of work, health and daily routine. Venus tends to soften and harmonise, bringing a little more enjoyment to the everyday aspects of life and relationships with colleagues can improve, and you may feel inspired to create healthier routines or pay more attention to your physical wellbeing. You’ll find you can be more influential with your coworkers with Venus in the 6th.

Then, Mercury, your ruling planet, also changes signs on the 10th, entering Libra and your 5th house of creativity, children and self-expression.

This is an excellent time for writers, teachers, content creators and anyone whose work depends upon communication. Your ideas flow more easily now, and you’ll probably find yourself becoming more playful, expressive and willing to share your thoughts with others.

If you’ve been struggling to find inspiration, Mercury’s movement into your 5th house should help. Conversations become lighter, creative projects gather momentum, and romantic relationships may benefit from more direct communication. Neptune will be opposing Mercury which can be great for poetics! But not so great for details- Neptune causes fog, and confusion. People who have this aspect natally in their charts can come across confusing, can confuse details, (sometimes on purpose!) but also possess webbed thinking, be spinning many mental plates and be intellectually creative.

Also on the 10th, Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini in your 1st house of identity and self-expression. This is significant to have Uranus enter Gemini earlier this year, introducing a seven-year cycle of reinvention. However, as Uranus moves backwards from 5° to 1°, you’re being asked to revisit the changes that have already begun to emerge.

If you’ve started questioning your appearance, identity, future direction or personal freedom, expect those questions to become more prominent.

You might find yourself wondering whether the version of yourself you’ve been presenting to the world still feels true to you. Uranus doesn’t want small adjustments or a change of scene. Instead, it invites radical change. If you have natal planets between 1° and 5° of any sign, you’ll likely feel this period more intensely because Uranus will be aspecting it.

The New Moon in Virgo on the 11th falls in your 4th house of home, family and emotional foundations.New moons represent beginnings, and this is your opportunity to plant seeds around the theme of home.

You may decide to move house, redecorate, reorganise your living environment or make changes within your family relationships. Whatever sustains you can be renewed in some way.

On the 12th the moon conjuncts Mercury in your 5th house of love, fun and dating, and forms a grand trine with power player Pluto and Planet of surprises Uranus. I think this could be a sweet day for you, so schedule a date or do something extra special. Neptune will be opposite this coupling, so it’s good for writing, creativity and getting in touch with your imagination.

On the 18th, your ruler mercury will oppose saturn this day and you’ll be put in touch with what you think restricts you in life. It’s a good day to set boundaries, especially where dating is concerned or you might feel like you want a new group to have fun with. On the 21st your Mercury will sextile Jupiter in the Leo, so this is a great day for hosting a party or traveling somewhere not too far away for a little break. You might use this time to explore a new project around communications too.

On the 23rd, the Sun enters Libra and joins Mercury in your 5th house.

The emphasis now shifts away from domestic concerns and towards joy, creativity and self-expression.

This is one of the most enjoyable transits of the year for you. Romance can flourish, creative projects can gain recognition, and you’ll likely feel more willing to be visible, maybe host some dinner parties. If you have children, they may become a more prominent focus during the second half of the month or you’ll be focused on meeting someone new to play with.

The Full Moon in Aries at 3° on the 26th falls in your 11th house of friendships, groups and future aspirations. This can reveal a close female friendship and the very nature of it. You might find joy in being with your friends at this time, or you may come to realise something profound about your friendship group or someone in it. Full moons bring culminations and revelations, and this one may illuminate something important within your social circle which you’ll want more of, or less of.

Think back to six months ago, around the Aries New Moon in April. Whatever began then may now be reaching a significant turning point. Did you initiate something at that time within a group or with a friend? It might be related…

You might recognise that certain friendships have run their course, or perhaps you’ll finally see which communities genuinely support you and your growth. Because Neptune is closely involved with this lunation, there may be some uncertainty surrounding the situation. Not everything will be immediately clear.

The positive news is that this full moon can also bring the fulfilment of a long-term goal which will feel like a dream come true.

Finally, on the 28th, Mars enters Leo and your 3rd house of communication, siblings, neighbours and learning. Your mind will begin moving at twice its usual speed!

You’ll want to speak, write, debate and exchange ideas. While this can be excellent for studying, teaching or launching a creative project, be mindful of becoming impatient or argumentative.

The month ends with Mercury entering Scorpio and your 6th house of work and health on the 30th.

Your focus returns to the practical realities of everyday life. After a month of questioning your foundations, redefining your identity and getting creative again, you’ll be ready to implement meaningful changes to your daily life!

Good luck this month, Gemini. See you in October!
