Aries — September 2026 Horoscope

The month starts out with a wrestle between your ruler Mars and Saturn in the form of a tight square. Squares symbolism struggle, striving, and a need to take action. Saturn however can slow the engine of Mars somewhat. Mars is in your 4th house of home and family and so there may be a challenge around getting what you want in the area of home and the people you live with.

Mars in Cancer is making you either protective over family or in fight mode. Arguments with those you live with could ensue or you might be pouring this energy into revamping your home. Perhaps you feel the itch to move home but you’re faced with the practicalities and limitations concerning your housemate or parents.

A few things are happening from the 10th; Mercury moves into your house of marriage and partnerships, and this is a good time to clarify any issues with partners in love or business. You will be putting your minds together on some intimate issue. Because of the 7th house focus on relationships, you could work with someone else at this time to have your perspective challenged. It’s a good time for therapy, you will find you want to talk and be receptive to another’s view. Mercury will oppose Neptune however so it is not a good time to negotiate or sign contracts as Neptune has foggy tendencies and brings confusion. The good side of this connection is Neptune brings a natural talent for writing, poetry and being imaginative.

Venus will enter Scorpio also on the 10th, and this is your 8th house of sex, death and taxes (as they say!) It’s the house of intimacy and other people’s money and Venus is the planet of love and money and so any relationship that begins at this time will have an inherent intensity about it, perhaps transformative in some way. Or you may be with a partner and find you connect on a much deeper level than before and will learn something new about them at this time. It might be that you attract money in some way through your partner, say they get a raise, or can put more money into a mortgage deposit, or you can easily get approved for a loan at this time.

Then we have the New Moon in Virgo at 18° in your 6th house of work and daily routine. This is extra positive for you as it’ll be in a supportive aspect to your ruler Mars. This is your peak opportunity to set a new routine for yourself health-wise, with the energy and support from Mars. You might find you get a new responsibility or a welcome change to the daily routine at work. It might be, with the Mars connection from the 4th house of home, that you can work more from home, welcome a new pet, or streamline your daily tasks. What you start to implement in work now will likely turn out to be a success. So do start strong on a new goal.

Uranus, planet of disruption and change, goes retrograde at this time, for around 5 months and this is happening in your 3rd house of neighbours siblings and communications. Uranus is at 5 degrees and will move back to 1 degree of Gemini, back at the brink of the new frontier for Uranus, and in Gemini he will stay for 6 further years. If you have natal planets between 1 and 5 degrees, then Uranus will contact them and they will be stirring up change in whichever house those natal planets are. You will need to consult an astrologer to understand how this will affect you personally but 3rd house themes being revisited are around siblings, neighbours, creative writing or speaking projects. You might find you are changing your habits, looking at life in a different way, rethinking the community you live in, even communicating differently.

On the 23rd the Sun enters Libra, and your focus will switch from the day-to-day to your partner, in love or business. Shortly after, on the 26th the full moon in Aries is a bold realisation for you personally. This is usually a day (and a few days after) of coming into a realisation about something so significant. I can’t tell what this is from looking at the general Aries chart for the month, but think back to the new moon 6 months ago in Aries, April 17th. Whatever you started there, with intention, you might find it coming into bloom, whether it be the results of a project, an honest conversation that started in April, or something like that.

The only issue with this full moon is that the moon is conjunct Neptune in Aries, which will give a certain amount of haze to this time. You might find the results confusing but it shouldn’t be an energy drain, as Neptune can so often cause, because your ruler Mars is in  trine with this full moon. It suggests you are in the driver’s seat, but there may be some uncertainty you need to work through with what comes up.

It might be that you feel like surrendering (not a very Aries thing to do, I know) to another person. Or know that you have to lose something to move forward with another person, such as a slice of your independence should you move in together etc. You won’t be super clear on your own needs at this time so don’t sign any deals if you can help it. Alternatively, you might find a shared compassion between you and your partner, and can work together selflessly on something greater than yourselves.

At the end of the month, Mars enters Leo, which is your 5th house of children, creativity and play. This is generally a time for you to be yourself and you will find you’ll want to express who you are. Your competitiveness will be high and so pour it into sporting activities or other games.

Good luck this month Aries. See you in October!
